Football: Sandesh Jhingan underwent surgery for a cheekbone fracture suffered at the CAFA Nations Cup.
Chess: Gukesh remained unbeaten with a draw at the Grand Swiss tournament, while top seed R Praggnanandhaa joined him on 1.5 points after two games with a win.
Boxing: Sumit, Neeraj made winning starts at the World Championships.
